The lanes at the Elks Lodge was installed during the summer of 1962.
Jim Taylor shot a 300 game here on April 8, 1999, his first, at the age of 64. He was the manager of the Elks Lanes for many years. The Elks Lodge bowling lanes was private until it was opened to the public in the fall of 2003 after receiving a retail liquor license in December 2002. Chuck Reinbold took over the management of the lanes in 2004 after the passing of Jim Taylor. |
